Inclement
Weather Policy
In general, battles and other North Texas Battle Group events will not
be cancelled due to inclement weather unless there is a safety concern.
If there is lightning in the area, a possibility of flash flooding, or
other potential hazard to personal safety or equipment, the Safety Officer
will call an immediate halt to activities under way and supervise an orderly
evacuation of personnel and equipment from the event site. The Safety
Officer may also cancel an event prior to its start if conditions so warrant.
The Safety Officer will notify the Commanding Officer of the cancellation.
The Commanding Officer will cascade notification to the membership via
telephone, e-mail, and web site update.
